Timothy Dickinson is Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at El Paso. He received his Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2015. His research focuses on the interplay between offender communication, identity work, and money cultures and how these shape offender decision-making. To explore these interests he qualitatively analyzes data collected from offenders. His work has been published in journals such as Criminology, The British Journal of Criminology, The Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, and The International Journal of Drug Policy.
