Simon Botton
Associate Director Administrators- Biography
Simon Botton is an Associate Director in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Georgia State University. Originally from France, Simon moved to the United States in 2018 with a swimming scholarship. He first attended Barton Community College (Kansas) where he became a National Runner Up Champion and All American three times. Simon graduated in 2020 with an Associate in Science, he then transferred to the University of Montevallo (Alabama) still on swimming scholarship and competed in NCAA. Simon graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor in Business Administration/Marketing and a Minor in Sport Business. Simon was featured many times in the Stephens College of Business at the University of Montevallo for his professional projects such as the creation of two companies. Back in 2020 Simon created a company called “BSathletics”, which role was to follow international students athletes in their recruiting process in order to join a US College Athletic program.
At Georgia State University, Simon will be on charge of overseeing the different projects going on within the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
