Bhashithe Abeysinghe

Bhashithe Abeysinghe is a Presidential Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He is an expert in Artificial Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence technologies using real world data sets. Abeysinghe’s research framework includes social media analytics with a concentration in Natural Language Processing (NLP) used in fake news detection using complex neural models. He has worked in both Computer Vision and Natural Language processing and his work explores the domains of Expert Systems. His work examines terrorist propaganda and the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)
