Description:
The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies (AYSPS) Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology seeks to hire a Research Coordinator II to support the Evidence-Based Cybersecurity Research Group in fulfilling its academic functions and responsibilities.
Position Details:
- Conduct research in the field of cybersecurity in collaboration with faculty from the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Computer Information Systems.
- Conduct experiments, assist in the administrative management of grants, and coordinate research activities.
- Perform analysis of scientific data, summarize research data and maintain the computer database with research results.
- Research and distribute research and grant opportunities to faculty, assist faculty in writing grants and submitting grant proposals.
- Collaborate with faculty with writing scientific papers, and conduct library research and provide systematic reviews of existing empirical research regarding the potential effect of existing cybersecurity policy and tools.
- Work with students on research projects, and train students in proper research methods.
