“We employ a social science model to curate mitigation methods aimed at nudging cybercriminals to expose themselves on attack systems and networks, while encouraging legitimate users to protect themselves.”
Director, Evidence Based Cyber Security Research Group
Today, every organization on the internet is a target for a cyberattack. However, although cybersecurity efforts have increased substantially, very little attention has been focused on identifying potential comprehensive human-based interventions by using rigorous scientific methods within the local ecology in which these crimes develop and persist.
We believe the interactions among cyber criminals, enablers, targets and guardians form a unique ecosystem in which the activities of each actor influence the behaviors of other actors.
